The Oldest camp in Ruaha with one of the best locations on the banks of the Ruaha River.

A much larger lodge than anything else on offer, the Ruaha River Lodge is a very good lower cost option. A recent renovation has made great improvements to the camp as it had become a little tired.

A large dining and lounge area overlooks the river and, like the rest of the camp, it is simple and economical in design and style.  The food is served as a buffet and there is always a good selection of dishes.

All the spacious rooms sit along the banks of the river with views from the individual verandahs where you can sit and relax.

Activities are centred around morning and afternoon game drives. Full day trips out can be arranged with a picnic lunch. Feedback on guiding has been acceptable but not outstanding.
