Tarangire Safari Lodge is a mid size lodge set on top of a high bluff with wonderful views off the Tarangire River valley below.

It is possible, particularly during dry season, to see a wide range of game directly from the main terrace infront of the main lodge area.

The 35 twin tents & 5 chalet bungalows are sturdy and comfortable; built on a solid base, with a thatched roof, screened windows, electric light and en suite stone-walled bathrooms with solar-heated shower and flush toilet.

Each tent has a small veranda, two comfortable single beds and a writing table and chair.

The location in the far north of the park near the main entrance gate means it is easily acccessible, with good game view in the immediate vacinity, but also the busiest area for other vehicles.

This is an excellent option for families to enjoy easy game drives, relax and have fun using the "legendary" swimming pool and enjoy uncomlpicated food.
