The large rooms are certainly memorable, constructed on wooden platforms surrounding large baobab trees. The mix of a natural and modern style to the rooms is fun whilst the open sides add to the romantic treehouse concept.
The main public areas consist of a dinning room, lounge, reception and gift shop. This entire area is built around the most colossal baobab tree whilst there is an inside fire pit and a game viewing deck with an infinity swimming pool.
Unfortunately the lodge location is a negative being an hour from the Tarangire park gate through an area that is generally very sparse on game. In addition the main access road from Arusha is a good hour away along a very bumpy track.
We have sayed at this lodge on three seperate occassions over the years and our opinion has always been the same. A really cool and fun room for a night but with little to offer in terms of genuine safari experience.
