E Unoto Retreat is a pleasant hotel at the base of the Rift Valley Escarpment close to Lake Manyara National Park.

The lodge was built as a joint-venture with the local Maasai community in providing health care, education and employment.

All 25 rooms have been designed Maasai "Rondaval" style and decorated internally with furnishings and carvings continuing the Maasai theme. Each room is a private suite with its own balcony offering panoramic views of Lake Miwaleni and the towering escarpment.

The lounge and dining area are open rondavels overlooking the nearby Lake Milaweni and the swimming pool. Guests experience of the food has been very good with a pleasant mix of local and international fare.
