Onsea House is a small boutique lodge located 7 kms east of Arusha town. It was only opened in 2006 but has already earned an excellent reputation for offering some of the best food in Tanzania.

With only four rooms, two in the main "Country Inn" house and two in the adjacent "Guest Cottage", there is a very relaxed and intimate atmosphere. The high level of hospitality and service are also achieved without any sense of formality or effort.

A "Maasai styled" veranda where lunch and dinner are served is styled with local handcrafted sofas, tables and chairs. Open and airy during the day, while small charcoal fires ward off the evening breeze. A great place for sundowners!

Thanks to its location and size, the outdoor floodlit swimming pool is probably the most comfortable in Arusha, with a nice temperature throughout most of the year.

The pool and the lawn bar are the perfect place to prepare or wind down from your safari or mountain climbing adventure with stunning view on the Mount Meru.  There are also three charming individual banda's located within the grounds of the hotel used for eating, massage or jacuzzi.

Onsea House is also a recognised centre of culinary excellence. Taste the freshly made brasserie dishes accompanied by the finest specially selected wines. Their Michelin rated, experienced, Belgian chef prepares a fusion of exquisite European and African delights based on seasonal specialities.
