Kinasi is a small beach lodge located on the main Mafia Island overlooking Chole Bay and a number of the surrounding islands

Well established with British owner / management the lodge has a comfortable and relaxed feel. It's a bit of a mix between a small beach guesthouse and a larger resort type hotel due to the large swimming pool, spa and dive centre.

The bungalows are all very comfortable some with "garden" views and others with "sea views".

The main bar area is a spacious, open-sided thatch building which joins onto the dining area, with a Swahili/Arab design, including a bright colour scheme and lots of handmade dark-wood furniture.

The closest beach is not the best, but guests tend to spend their days out exploring the pristine waters, islands and sandbanks that surround Mafia Island.

Activities from the lodge are very much based around water activities - you can head out and cruise on one of the traditional dhows, enjoy some wonderful diving or deep-sea fishing.
