The Manta Resort was re-launched in 2008 after an extensive upgrade. Located in the far north of the island the hotel is set up along the beach of the Kigomasha peninsular.

The resort is focused around a large open-plan relaxation area directly in front of the sea. The swimming pool area looks out over the beach and sea from where you can enjoy the stunning colours of the water and sunsets.

Meals are served on the main building verandah whilst the lodges does set up some wonderful "Sandbank" dinners. The beach lounge and bar is perfect place to chill out and enjoy a range of cocktails and sundowners.

As part of the upgrade, the owners have built 6 spacious beachfront villas with king size beds, ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioning and a secluded sun terrace.

There are a good range of activities including trips to the Ngaze forest, diving, snorkelling, fishing, whale and dolphin watching, sea-kayaking and birdwatching.
