Simuyu Tented Camp is a semi-luxury mobile tented camp which has four different Serengeti locations during the year according to the movement of the wildlife.

The concept is that the camp moves in order to be located as close as possible to the Great Migration during the different seasons.

From December to March the camp is located in the southern Serengeti plains, from May to August the camp has one location within the central Seronera region and one in the Serengeti western corridor, whilst from August to November the camp moves up to the northern regions of the park.

These luxury "mobile" camps offer great safaris with the perfect balance between comfort, privacy and splendid isolation away from the permanant safari lodges.

The camps are small enough that you can enjoy a more intimate experience within the bush whilst the very friendly and efficient team of guides and staff make you feel relaxed and confident within the whole environment.

The private tents are spacious and can be arranged as a large double or twin bedded room. At the front of the tent is an open veranda with chairs and table where you can relax and enjoy your early morning or afternoon tea / coffee with the sights and sounds of the surrounding landscape. At the back of the tents is the en suite bathroom with hand basin, flush toilet and "bucket" shower. It is all very comfortable with a traditional safari style and charm which is truly enriching.

There is also a large communal dining and "library" tent, as well a lovely campfire area which is the setting for sundowners, outside dinners and evenings discussing the days activites under the stars, surrounded by the noises of the bush.
