Nomad Nduara is a unique camp using yurts across the Loliondo area, part of the great Serengeti eco-system, bordering the Serengeti National Park proper. The camp lies just outside the park boundaries giving extra freedom; simple things like walks and night drives mean an altogether more intense and real feeling of safari and wilderness unlike any other.

This is a different type of safari, one you see and feel at ground level. Step out of your safari vehicle and experience things from a different perspective. Being at Nduara Loliondo takes you into safari life beyond the game drive. Here is where you get deeper into the bush, and life takes on a vastly different pace.
The camp is semi permanent and moves seasonally spending 6 months in southern Loliondo (Piyaya) and 6 months in northern Loliondo (Ololosokwan).
A safari that combines Nduara Loliondo with the small classic east African migration camp in the Serengeti National Park itself - Nomad Serengeti Camp - offers you one of the best ways to see the Serengeti eco-system.
Nduara Loliondo is all about harmony, and reflects this in a strikingly organic design. Six big, beautiful yurts have been given a totally African makeover, with enough light and air to do justice to the wide skies and gentle climate of the area, then revved up with re-invented Maasai motifs and materials.
Each of the bedroom yurts has its own spacious en-suite bathroom attached to the back, with short drop toilets, and traditional bucket showers with hot and cold water on demand.
The yurts have been designed to be as cool as possible during the day, and have wrap-around shade net windows with flaps that can be rolled up or down. There is also a traditional open ‘wheel’ in the centre of the roof (in Mongolian gers this is where the chimney of the fireplace would be located). This helps to keep the yurt open and airy.
The communal mess and dining yurts are perfect for lazy afternoons, or cuddling up as night falls after a genuinely wild day out. This camp takes pastoralism to a whole new level - bold of heart, strong of step and strong in soul.
