Plantation Lodge is set within the grounds of a working farm with beautiful flowering gardens and lawns surrounding the main house and outbuildings that make up some of the rooms.

The lodge’s 16 rooms and 3 suites lie generously distributed throughout the property, some with verandas and/or direct access to the garden.

Individuality is a major feature of Plantation Lodge, where each room has its own style and high quality interior design, large beds and ensuite bathrooms. There are some beautiful touches throughout the rooms.

The main house is where you will find a comfortable bar area, lounge and dining room. All these areas are spacious, light and airy with wonderful photographs and curios showing the history and culture of East Africa. An excellent wine cellar compliments the high quality food, and since the lodge grows its own vegetables, salads, herbs and fruit, the food is deliciously fresh.

There is also an attractive swimming pool with views out over the surrounding hillside, - beautiful place in the early evening when the sun goes down.

For us it is the stunning gardens at Plantation Lodge that stick in the memory after any visit - bougainvillea, frangipani, jacaranda trees, the scent of tropical plants, colourful flowers, expansive lawns and the sounds of exotic birds throughout.

A great place to relax as part of a safari within the different northern parks.
