The Blue Bay Beach Resort & Spa is a 5-star deluxe hotel situated on landscaped, palm-decked 25-acres along the famed sparkling white sandy beaches of Kiwengwa on the East Coast of Zanzibar.

Blue Bay Resort is located on a beautiful 30-acre site.  All of its bedroom cottages are located on rising ground which overlooks verdant gardens, the public areas, the swimming pool and more than a 1,000 beautiful palm trees. All of this leads down to the sparkling white beach and crystal clear sea.

The hotel offers a total of 112 rooms, among them a set of 24 latest-style private "club" rooms that came on stream in July 2007. All rooms include air-conditioning, mini-bar, hair dryer, telephones and satellite tv.

A recent rennovation saw brand new makuti (intricate palm thatch) roofs installed on all rooms as well as the servicing and replacement of all electrical equipments and appliances. The facelift also included a complete replacement and redesign of all soft furnishings (curtains, cushions and bedspreads) and new concept for all the Restaurants.

One Ocean Divers has an in-house dive centre; other activities include game fishing, watersports, tennis and a childrens club.
