Rufiji River Camp newly refurbished, charming camp located on the banks of the Rufiji river, at a point where the ample and tranquil river is animated by many different species of animals.

Fourteen tents face the sunset with comfortable beds, walled en-suite facilities, mosquito netting and all of the comfortable equipment of a lodge.

Each tent is equipped with private bathroom and a private veranda facing the river.  The veranda roofs are made of local straw (makuti) that creates the perfect place for reading, writing or just resting in the shade.

The camp has a central dining, lounge and bar area shaded by makuti roof overlooking the Rufiji River. There is also an uncovered area with a campfire pit and deckchairs - the perfect place to relax in the early evening.

The much needed refurbishment has made this camp one of the best river locations in the Selous.
