The Stiltz has a great location at the southern end of town overlooking the mouth of the Swakop river and huge sand dunes in the distance. The quirky accommodation consists of individual chalets built high on stilts and linked by wooden walkways.

The Stilts has 9 unique bungalows all built to a high standard and offering very comfortable accommodation.  All rooms have double or twin beds, en suite bathroom with shower, mini-bar and a balcony with views of the dunes, the lagoon and the ocean.

There is also a main dining bungalow where the lodge serves an excellent breakfast.  The owners of the hotel also own "The Tug" restaurant along the beach which is a fantastic seafood restaurant for dinner and they will make reservations for you.

The reception staff are really friendly and helpful. There are some excellent outdoor activities to enjoy whilst staying in Swakopmund and these can all be booked in advance or at the lodge.
