The lodge has 10 tented chalets and is built on stilts, set against towering granite formations. The camp location and its surroundings are amazing whilst each chalet has its own niche amongst the rocks, ensuring peace, privacy and exclusivity.

The luxury "Meru" tents are pitched under steep thatched roofs for shade, each with it's own private deck.  The en suite bathrooms are built around the existing rocks and trees.

On top of a separate granite hill, the restaurant and lounge also offer spectacular views of the mountain landscape.  With a large, central fireplace, comfortable lounge and 'mokoro' bar, this area is as much for relaxing and unwinding as it is for eating and drinking.

In terms of activities walking is the best way to experience the beauty of the Erongo Mountains.  The camps guides will share their knowledge of the local fauna, flora, and folklore on walks over granite domes and through rich valleys.

Nature drives in open-topped Landcruisers also provide insight into the environment, and occasional close encounters with the animals that roam within the Conservancy. The abundant bird life in the Erongo Wilderness area is one of it's most popular drawcards.

This is a friendly and relaxing lodge option which is the best solution for self-drive safari's including Sossusvlei in the south and Twyfelfontein or Etosha in the north, whilst avoiding the coastal towns of Swakopmund and Walvis Bay.
