Palmwag Lodge, is situated on the banks of the dry Uniab River in Namibia's dramatic north-west region. This Lodge is an ideal base for exploring the vast Palmwag Concession and its surprising array of wildlife.

Palmwag Lodge is set in an idyllic oasis amongst rustling palm trees, spectacular scenery and offers convenient proximity to observe the rare desert-adapted black rhino and elephant that roam this enormous and wild expanse.

The lodge's situation on the banks of the dry Uniab River, provides multiple accommodation options, from chalets to canvas-style tents, all decorated in an individual and tasteful style. 

The two swimming pools, large restaurant and distinctive bar make this an ideal base for a self-drive trip with the chance to then explore the wonderful Palmwag concession. This is a place of real charm and character.

Activities include morning and evening game drives, guided walks and walking trails. The Lodge also arranges full day game drives, overnight camping trips and cultural excursions when booked in advance.

We really like and appreciate this lodge as an excellent lower cost option. It's a really cool place.
