Elephant Pepper prides itself on guests feeling that they are really in the bush. It is made up of 8 large, light canvas tents, each with ensuite facilities with flushing loos and hot showers. Following its eco-friendly culture is closed for 2 months of the year when it is packed up and no trace remains amongst the bush.
This is a stunning camp and a favourite of Safari&Beach. Guiding is superb with ample game surrounding the camp which makes for good walking safaris. The waterhole nearby also adds to the atmosphere when you hear familiar and unfamiliar noises as you sit around the campfire at night. The food, with an Italian theme (but English breakfasts), is delicious. If you want a deep safari experience whilst maintaining an element of luxury, this is for you.
