Gorilla Mountain View is a new lodge located on the slopes of Mt.Sabinyo close to the headquarters of Volcanoes National Park. The lodge offer great views of the Virunga Mountains and is a prime location for easy access to the mountain gorilla trekking.

A mid-range lodge which has 30 stone cottages pleasantly spread out over a few acres of cultivated land offering plenty of space and privacy.

The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable with en suite bathrooms.  They each have their own small lounge and fireplace and the hot-water bottle at night is a very pleasant extra touch.

There is seperate restaurant and bar building where good meals are served.  We have only heard very complimentary things about the staff and service which is friendly and helpful however things do creak a little bit at the sides, particularly with the generator power, when the lodge is fully occupied.

This is a good value for money option if you are not too concerned about your levels of comfort and are happy with somewhere functional and friendly in order to see the gorillas.
